Ingredients

  • 250 gdates

    soaked in hot water

  • 50 gwalnuts

    pan-toasted

  • 50 galmonds

    pan-toasted

  • 50 ghazelnuts

    pan-toasted

  • 120 goats

    pan-toasted

  • 20 gcocoa powder

Instructions

  1. Soak 250g dates in hot water until soft, then pit and peel.

  2. Pan-toast 50g each of walnuts, almonds and hazelnuts along with 120g oats.

  3. Blend 2/3 of the toasted nuts and oats with the dates into a sticky paste.

  4. Mix in 20g cocoa and fold through the remaining whole nuts and oats.

  5. Press into a mould and chill briefly or serve right away.
