  • 3eggs
  • 120 gsugar
  • pinchsalt
  • 300 gflour
  • 10 gvanilla sugar
  • 10 gbaking powder
  • 180 mlmilk
  • 100 mlvegetable oil
  • 40 gcoconut flakes
  • 50 mlmilk

    for coconut batter

  • butter

    for pan

  • powdered sugar

    for dusting

Instructions

  1. Whisk eggs with sugar and a pinch of salt until pale and fluffy.

  2. Add flour, vanilla sugar, baking powder, milk and vegetable oil. Mix to a smooth batter.

  3. Divide the batter in two; stir coconut flakes and 50 ml milk into one half.

  4. Butter the pan and alternate spoonfuls of the two batters, 4 tbsp at a time, to create a marble pattern.

  5. Bake at 180 °C for 45- until a skewer comes out clean. Dust with powdered sugar.
