Ingredients

Ingredients updated to metric measurements
  • 2apples
  • lemon juice

    a splash

  • 4 tbspsugar-free syrup

    or honey

  • 2egg whites
  • butter

    for greasing

  • 160 goats

Instructions

  1. Grate 1 apple, toss with a splash of lemon juice and 3-4 tablespoons sugar-free syrup, then whisk in 2 egg whites.

  2. Slice the second apple into thin pieces.

  3. Grease a baking dish with butter and arrange a layer of apple slices.

  4. Add a layer of oats, spread the apple-egg-white mixture on top, then finish with another layer of oats.

  5. Press the final layer of oats firmly with the back of a spoon.

  6. Bake at 190°C for 30- until the top is golden and the apples are tender.
