3-Ingredient Date Poppy Chocolate Bars

Simple layered chocolate bars with mashed dates and ground poppy seeds between two dark chocolate shells. Five to ten minutes of work, set in the fridge.

Ingredients

Ingredients updated to metric measurements
  • 12dates

    soaked in boiling water, pitted and peeled

  • 200 gdark chocolate

    sugar-free, melted

  • 100 gground poppy seeds

Instructions

  1. Soak 12 dates in boiling water, then pit and peel.

  2. Melt 200g dark chocolate in a water bath.

  3. Pour 1/3 of the chocolate into moulds and chill briefly to set.

  4. Mash the dates, mix with 100g ground poppy seeds and spread over the chocolate layer.

  5. Cover with the remaining chocolate and chill until fully set.
