High-Protein Cottage Cheese Banana Pita Rolls

Savoury-sweet pita rolls filled with whipped cottage cheese, banana, vanilla and egg white, brushed with yolk-milk wash and baked 15 minutes until golden.

  • 330 gcottage cheese
  • 1 gvanilla
  • 2bananas
  • 1egg white
  • 1egg yolk

  • 2 tbspmilk

  • pita bread
  • vegetable oil

    for greasing

Instructions

  1. Mash 330g cottage cheese with 1g vanilla and 2 bananas.

  2. Stir in 1 egg white (reserve yolk) until the filling is smooth.

  3. Spread the filling on pita bread and roll up tightly.

  4. Place in an oiled baking dish, brush with a mix of 1 egg yolk and 2 tablespoons milk.

  5. Bake at 180°C for until golden and serve warm.
