Baked apples stuffed with a quark filling of eggs, brown sugar, cinnamon, raisins and walnut. A comforting fall dessert that eats like a cake replacement.

Ingredients

    large, cored

  • 200 gquark

    or fine-grain cottage cheese

  • 2eggs
  • 2 tbspbrown sugar
  • 1 tspcinnamon
  • 170 graisins
  • 1 tbspcornstarch
  • 5walnuts

    one per apple

Instructions

  1. Core the apples and hollow a little of the flesh.

  2. Blend quark, eggs, brown sugar, cinnamon, cornstarch and the apple flesh.

  3. Stir in raisins.

  4. Fill each apple with the mixture and top with a walnut.

  5. Bake at 170-180 °C for 30-.
