Ingredients

  • 150 gbeef bacon
  • 1onion
  • 2 tspdried garlic
  • salt
  • broccoli

    1 head

  • 1potato
  • 1carrot
  • 1.2 lwater
  • 50 gcheddar cheese
  • pepper mix

Instructions

  1. Fry 150g beef bacon in vegetable oil until golden; add chopped onion and brown.

  2. Add 2 teaspoons dried garlic, salt, broccoli florets, chopped potato and carrot.

  3. Pour in 1.2L water; simmer 10- until vegetables are tender.

  4. Reserve a few florets and blend the rest smooth; stir in 50g grated cheddar and pepper mix.

  5. Bring to a brief boil, return the reserved florets and serve.
