Ingredients

Ingredients updated to metric measurements
  • 100 glentils

    soaked overnight

  • 240 mlwater

    for blending

  • Himalayan salt

    to taste

  • 50 gcheddar cheese

    shredded

  • 1 pieceboiled egg

    chopped, for cheesy version

  • 140 gcanned tuna

    drained

  • 2 pieceboiled eggs

    chopped, for tuna version

  • 1 bunchfresh dill

    chopped

  • 1 pieceleek

    sliced, for vegan version

  • sweet paprika

    to taste

  • olive oil

    for frying

Instructions

  1. Soak lentils overnight, then rinse and drain

  2. Blend lentils with water until smooth, add salt

  3. Divide base into three equal parts

  4. For cheesy version: mix with shredded cheddar and chopped boiled egg, add water to batter consistency

  5. For tuna version: mix with drained tuna, chopped boiled eggs and dill

  6. For vegan version: saute sliced leek in olive oil, add to base with paprika and dill

  7. Heat olive oil in a non-stick pan

  8. Fry each pancake until golden on both sides
