Ingredients

Ingredients updated to metric measurements
  • 43⅓ gsunflower seeds
  • 5 gpsyllium husk
  • 0.17 tspsalt
  • dried basil
  • dried garlic
  • 1 pieceeggs
  • 20 mlwarm water
  • 10 mlolive oil
  • ⅓ tspbaking powder
  • ⅔ tspsesame seeds

    for topping

Instructions

  1. Grind sunflower seeds

  2. Mix with psyllium, salt, dried basil and dried garlic

  3. Add eggs, warm water and olive oil

  4. Mix well and add baking powder

  5. Grease baking sheet with oil

  6. Knead dough and shape buns

  7. Make cuts and sprinkle with sesame seeds

  8. Bake at 180 C (350 F) for 25- until golden

Denmark. I have been eating low carb for three years. Sunflower seed bread used to take me an hour with soaking and drying seeds. This version is twenty minutes total. My son eats it with butter and he is not even doing low carb. It just tastes good.
